No Snooping Allowed Owner, Dan Latrimurti
My name is Dan Latrimurti. I am the creator, founder, editor, instigator, head cook and bottle washer (at this time) at No Snooping Allowed. No Snooping Allowed is a culmination of a long personal and professional journey that involved thirty years in corporate America traveling the world as a software marketer, trainer and integrator; getting laid off, learning the internet marketing food chain, getting burned out (again) and a bit of soul-searching about what I really wanted to do with my life.
In 2007, after I decided that living my life on planes and in hotel rooms was not my idea of a good time my employer respected my decision and shortly thereafter pointed me in the direction of the front door.
The pain from the sharp end of the boot was abrupt and long-lasting as I also had to bear witness to the evaporation of a very large basket of stock options; bye-bye retirement plans, hello being 54 looking for a job again. At 54 I wasn’t all that jazzed about getting back into the corporate world; and what company wants an over traveled, 30 year corporate burnout with a penchant for putting the stick in the pot and stirring counter-clockwise.
After kicking around doing websites, learning the entire internet marketing food chain from top to bottom, I realized that I was just creating a job for myself. At the same time I had this sneaky nagging rock in my shoe that seemed to want to trying telling me that God did not put me on this earth to be a website or mobile app developer! But what?
It was about this time I truly started to wake up. The Bush/Cheney police state initiatives were in full swing and I started to become increasingly irritated by the fact that our liberties were being systematically denied. This was my cognitive dissonance point; my deer in the headlights moment; the point when I knew that we were not in Kansas anymore.
It was about this time (circa 2008) that I ran into a gentleman by the name of Zak Carter. Zak was selling advertising for Josh Tolley and found me on the Ron Paul Yellow Pages. I didn’t buy any advertising that day but I created a bond with Zak that lasts to this day.
For the next couple of years I continued doing websites, learning more and more and liking it less and less. It’s amazing how miserable one can be when they’re not doing the work that they were put here to do so I started praying about it and asked God for help.
It wasn’t long after the 2012 elections that Zak called again. Zak had gone to work for Free and Equal and I had started doing mobile apps and after a bit of conversation Zak invited me to meet the people at Free and Equal and hence started by introduction to what many refer to as the freedom and liberty movement.
Zak and I both ground it out over at Free and Equal for a bit before we both moved on. I didn’t hear from Zak until later in 2013 when he called and asked me if I knew Ben Swann and would I be interested in doing his mobile app for him which I did and then came the game changer.
The Game Changer
The game changer came for me in early 2014 when Zak introduced me to KrisAnne Hall. KrisAnne is an amazingly courageous woman who has made liberty her life’s mission. I won’t describe KrisAnne’s entire story but to give you an idea of her character, let me say this. If you were to ask KrisAnne which is more important between a career and meaningful employment and liberty, she would without any hesitation tells you that the defense of liberty must be supported at all hazard. This is how she lives her life and she has my utmost respect, admiration and loyalty. I ended up developing KrisAnne’s website and her mobile apps as well as continue to support her in any and every way possible to this day.
It wasn’t too long after meeting KrisAnne and getting to know her and learning of her mission to preserve the blessings of liberty for future generations, that I realized that my calling was the same as hers.
Doing What You Can With What You Got Given Where You Are
No Snooping Allowed is the manifestation of what I believe about defending liberty: Do what you can with what you got given where you are.
The establishment has been working their plan for a very long time. Generations! No one person can do the work necessary to preserve and restore the blessings of liberty for future generations. Supporting liberty at all hazard and creating “No Snooping Allowed” is the first in what will be a series of steps; but for now, it is what I can do with what I got given where I am. How about you?
No Snooping Allowed Editorial Advisor and Contributor Robin Koerner
Robin Koerner is a political and economic commentator for the Huffington Post, Ben Swann, the Daily Paul, and other sites. He is best known for coining the term “Blue Republican” to refer to liberals and independents who joined the GOP to support Ron Paul’s bid for the presidency.
His article launched a movement, which now focuses on winning supporters for liberty rather than arguments and focusing on finding common ground with those of various political persuasions, especially people on the left. In that spirit, Robin trains activists and candidates to become good sales persons for liberty.
Robin, a British permanent resident of the USA, also founded WatchingAmerica.com, an organization of over 300 volunteers who translate into English articles, information and views about the USA from all over the world.
